Dr. Connell was born and raised in Yakima, WA and is excited to be home to pursue his passion of dentistry and to establish his roots. Dr. Connell has a vast dental heritage in Yakima Valley, following in the footsteps of his father, who practiced dentistry in Yakima for more than 30 years. He earned his DDS degree at the University of Washington School of Dentistry and has spent the last few years practicing in the Vancouver/Portland area.
Dr. Connell enjoys all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry and strives to bring the most up-to-date techniques to his practice through continuing education. He is licensed and certified in IV and oral sedation; he is a graduate of the prestigious White Cap Implant Institute, where he furthered his training in dental implants; and he provides custom-made anti-snoring/sleep apnea devices. He also enjoys working with kids; with two young children of his own, he is able to relate and make them feel at ease.
Dr. Connell is a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, a member of the American Dental Association, and a mentor to dentists attending the UCLA continuing education course for moderate IV and oral sedation.
In his free time, Dr. Connell enjoys Yakima’s orchards, skiing, riding motorcycles, and almost any other outdoor activity with his wife, Krista, and their boys.
