Dental hygiene has been my passion for over six years now. As a native of the Yakima Valley, I have enjoyed living and working in this beautiful area all of my life. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing tennis and soaking up all that the valley has to offer. As a hygienist, I strive to offer my patients the quality dental care they deserve in a gentle, pain free and friendly environment.

I feel that my job is to make the world a better place by helping to create wonderful smiles. I have worked as a registered Dental Assistant for nearly thirty years. Over the years I have provided on-the-job training to many of the dental assistants in the valley–including those at Dr. Connell’s office. I believe that Dr. Connell is an excellent listener who truly loves to spend time with our clients in order to best address their needs. I enjoy spending time with my husband of twenty-eight years and our two grown children. I am also an active member of St. Paul’s Cathedral and have volunteered for many years at the Union Gospel Mission’s dental department.

I am thrilled to be Dr. Connell’s Patient Coordinator, a role that I performed within another dental office for the last ten years. Working with Dr. Connell, the team and the patients has been a positive and life-changing experience in many ways. My goal for the office is to have our customers arrive for their appointments with a smile and leave the office still smiling as they just had the best experience. Besides being at work, I enjoy supporting my children in their many activities. Whether we are boating, wake boarding or skiing, our family simply loves to be outdoors.

Working in the dental field has given me a sense of pride knowing that each day I help people meet their dental goals and create happy, healthy smiles. I have been a registered dental assistant for over four years, starting out in a root canal specialty practice then switching gears to general dentistry. Family dentistry has opened up a whole new world to me and Dr. Connell has graciously taken the time to teach me. When I’m not working, I love to be outdoors, enjoy photography and spending time with my wonderful husband and our four year old son.
